Communication is the key to success. To make students well versed with at the business communication skills soft skills workshop was conducted in January 2015 by Ms. Anagha Kalay.
Selling skills workshop was conducted for students of MBA – I and II. It is not necessary that the student should be from Marketing Specialization. It applies to other students also as they have to understand the process of selling an idea.
For the MBA curriculum students have to choose ‘Four Elective Subjects’ as per their area of interest. For the finance specialisation students, usage of excel and analysis of financial statements is very essential. Hence, all the students were motivated to opt for the Elective ‘Financial Modeling using Excel’. The students were given MS Excel based training on financial statement analysis, corporate finance, developing equity research model, analyzing revenue and cost drivers, developing schedules, projected balance sheet, cash flow statements and discounted cash flow evaluation. The sessions were entirely practical oriented. It was conducted by Mr. Sameer Gunjal, an experienced Financial Analyst.
