Our School Exhibition
In commemoration of the birth anniversary of Dr. C.V. Raman, like every year, Little Flower School had organised School Exhibition on 28th Feb. 2018 to give its budding scientists, Mathematicians, linguists, artists an opportunity to present their ideas, talent and creativity. The exhibition was inaugurated by our school Principal, Mrs, Swati Kharde. It was arranged systematically on the first and the second floor of the school building. Students from class 1 to IX participated in it under the able guidance of the subject experts. The students had come up with still models, working models, and projects related to subjects like science, mathematics, social science, languages, sports and art.
The exhibits included eco-friendly houses, electromagnetic cranes, intelligent street light, models of different physical features, smart village, smart city and projects related to language items, special authors and poets. These provided a feast to the parents who attended in large number and gave their encouraging feedback. On this day we had very special guests as Hon’ble Ex. Chief Minister of Goa and the Ex-Law Minister of India Mr. Ramakant Khalap, and the Hon’ble Chairman of Our Dr. Vikhe Patil Foundation, Pune, Dr. Ashok Vikhe Patil. They interacted with the students and appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers for putting up such a grand exhibition and giving a platform to all the students of the school to present their ideas and showcase their talent. Their graceful presence and appreciation boosted our students.
L.F.S. Celebrates Death Anniversary of Late Padmashri Dr. Vithhalrao Vikhe Patil
On 27th April our school celebrated the Death anniversary of the Late Padmashree, Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil. During the school assembly our Principal paid tribute to him by lighting lamp and garlanding his portrait . She introduced the students with his work and the concern he showed for the upliftment of the society, particularly the farmers. In her address she also motivated the students to work honestly in their life and do something concrete and effective for the society in future.
Celebration of Birth Anniversary of Late Padmabhushan Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil
On 5th May Little Flower School celebrated the birth anniversary of the Late Padmabhushan, Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil. All the staff of the school was present on the occasion. The school principal lit the lamp and garlanded the portrait of the Padmabhushan. The Principal addressed the staff giving a brief history of his life and his contribution in the field of education. She expressed gratitude towards this great personality for making available the best facilities of education and health in rural area like Loni. She concluded motivating the staff to keep performing wholeheartedly.
On 31st March, 2018 Little Flower School had organized Kindergarten Exhibition. It was arranged in a grand manner in the Multi-purpose hall and the ground floor of the school building. It was inaugurated at the hands of our school Principal, Mrs. Swati Kharde at 9.00 a.m. The exhibits included the models of government buildings like Post Office, Police Station, Banks, Panchyat Samiti, Air Port, Railway Station, Supreme Court etc. The Kindergarten classes were decorated with charts models, paintings and craft items which focused on Jungle theme. The tiny tots spoke beautifully giving valuable information about the animal and forest wealth and emphasized the necessity to protect them. They even had some funny games which helped to enhance their knowledge of vocabulary, word power and numbers. It proved a new way to understand and speak English language effectively. They also gave information about the role of different government organizations. This exhibition surely displayed the talent of the students. There was an overwhelming response of the students from 1 to X and their guardians. Teachers and students of other nursery schools from the periphery of Loni also attended in large number. In short, this exhibition was a proud moment for both the students and teachers of our school.
