Month End Activities – Pre-Primary (January 2018)
Etching was the activity for the month of January. Each class used a different texture for creating a scenery. Children used different coloured crayons to etch mountains, flowers, butterflies and caterpillars. This activity of etching helped children explore different textures and enhance their fine motor skills.
Activity – Finger Puppet
Children enjoyed making finger puppet as their month end activity. To reinforce the concept of sea animal’s finger puppet of star fish and jelly fish were made. Colourful chart papers were used to make the puppets. Children used cutting (using child friendly scissors), pasting and drawing skills to complete their puppets. Children enjoyed not only making the puppets but later indulging in role plays using their puppet props.
