E-Talk Series

An E-Talk Series under the Entrepreneurship Development Cell was organized by Dr. Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Pravara Centre For Management Research & Development on 25th february2014 at 10:30 to 14:00. We had some of the eminent speakers from various business sectors across Pune. Overall the session was knowledgeable and a great learning experience.

The session was kick-started with the address by Mr. Surendra nath Agarwal, Chairman Product Accelerator. Rotarian Surendra has been associated with Rotary club of Poona north since 1988. Surendra is also has been associated with BYST-an entrepreneurship development Trust since its inception and is at present Chairman- Strategic committee and Bank loan sanction panel. He holds an accreditation certificate in Mentoring awarded jointly from City and Guilds-UK and BYST.


The topic of discussion for the E-Talk was Social Entrepreneurship. Sir enlightened the students about the contributions of many Social Entrepreneurs in India like Vinoba Bhave, Ela Bhatt, Muhammad Yunus & many more. He did make a mention of how Universities in different countries are coming up with Entrepreneurship specific degrees. He shared his view about having 3 relevant capacities to be built upon namely Innovations to social problems, Capital & Idea generation. Social Entrepreneurs are the ones who prioritize on not just Returns on Investment but what will be the Returns to Society.

The Next Guest speaker for the E-Talk was Mrs. Pranjal Gundesha, Founder and CEO of IntelligencePlus. She is a NLP Certified Trainer and Behavior Coach. An exceptionally talented individual, she has numerous prestigious national and international awards to her credit. She has been awarded the Nokia Entrepreneurship and Leadership Award. She was awarded the Rotary Young Entrepreneur Award. She has represent India at various International Forums in Russia and Singapore. She is the Executive Committee Member of Janaseva Foundation, Pune.

She addressed on “Women Entrepreneurship”. She emphasized on having self belief, Love for own work, having a flair of constant Reading, learning & improving. She stressed upon the fact that one need to first decide on their goals, have a vision and yearn to grow with one’s own startup. She shared her own life time experiences with the students of how she came up with a start-up Idea which is a well established reality today. She concluded her address with throwing light upon important skill sets for being a successful entrepreneurs like Patience, Motivation, Risk taking ability & Convincing ability.

The next E-talk was delivered by Mr. Sushant Katare, CEO and Founder of Netlux Systems Private Limited. Netlux systems have products in data security domain, Netlux Antivirus for PC, Netlux Antivirus for Android Mobiles. The E-Talk was on Indian Entrepreneurship. He also shared few success stories of Indian Entrepreneurs. He shared some of the highlighting points to be considered while thinking of a start-up like Vision, Risk tolerance, Determination, Motivation, Passion, Expertise, Logical and Practical.
