Children’s Day Celebrations (Pre-primary)

On the occasion of Children’s Day students were dressed in party dresses. The classrooms were decorated with colourful balloons and streamers. They were welcomed by the teachers and given information as to why Children’s Day is celebrated. Their day began with a puppet show by Ms. Ragini Soman. Students thoroughly enjoyed stories like ‘Lion and the mouse’, ‘Old woman and the fox’ and some interesting songs, followed by snacks and sweets. Later, children indulged and responded positively in various activities like dancing, outdoor and indoor games like musical chairs, aiming the target, pillar game, passing the parcel. All in all, the day was fun and frolic for the children.
